September 13, 2023: The Corporate Relation Cell of AIMETC in collaboration with Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) organised a workshop on ‘5S Methodology – Improve Efficiency with Effective Organisation.’ The venue for the workshop was Pushpa Gujral Science City, Kapurthala.
The resource person for the session was Mr Sonu Bansal, an Associate Counsellor at the CII Centre of Excellence for Competitiveness for SMEs explained how Kaizen 5S is implemented in their workplace. Students had the opportunity to understand each of the 5S principles which are instrumental in continuous improvement of an organisation.
The session was followed by a visit to the various sections of the Science City where the students got to explore the space theatre, laser theatre, 3D theatre, digital planetarium and dinosaur park among others. the students also visited galleries on evolution, birds, and climate change theatre.
