The Entrepreneurship Development Cell organized a One Week Workshop in collaboration with the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME) for MBA and BBA students. The workshop aimed at strengthening practical understanding of financial concepts and enhancing industry readiness.
The first two days of the workshop focused on sessions on Introduction to Financial Management, Cost of Capital, and Valuation of Securities. The sessions were delivered by Mr. Dakash Gupta, Chartered Accountant, who shared valuable industry insights and practical examples, helping students understand how financial decisions impact businesses in the real world.
Day 3 of the workshop focused on Capital Budgeting and Investment Decision-Making, where students were introduced to important techniques used by organizations to evaluate long-term investment opportunities. Day 4 was dedicated to Working Capital Management, highlighting the significance of effectively managing short-term financial resources to ensure smooth business operations.
