September 30, 2023: We are proud to share that AIMETC student – Shriya Maini received an award & cash prize from the President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu. She was selected to receive the prestigious NSS Award (Volunteer Category) for the year 2021-22.
This honor is bestowed by the Union Youth Affairs and Sports in recognition of Shriya's exceptional dedication and passion for serving the nation as an NSS Volunteer. She was bestowed with a Silver Medal, a certificate and a Cash Prize of Rs. 1,00,000/-. The award ceremony took place at Rashtrapati Bhawan, New Delhi, on 29 th September 2023.
The Director of AIMETC added that it is the vision and commitment of Madam Chairperson, Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia that have helped in nurturing students like Shriya who are dedicated to make a positive impact on the society.
The Sports and Youth Services Minister Mr Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer congratulated her on the selection for this prestigious award. He said that it is a matter of pride for Punjab. Shriya Maini is a beacon of light for the youth of Punjab as she has rendered valuable services in the field of social service as an NSS volunteer. Dr Rajesh Bagga, Director, AIMETC expressed his elation at Shriya's outstanding contributions to societal development.
