October 06, 2023: Apeejay Institute of Management & Engineering TechnicalCampus RamaMandi Jalandhar SportsCluborganized ‘Pinnacle Chess Competition 2023’ event on October 06, 2023. The event was a chance for the students to showcase their skills on the checkered battlefield.
Students from #BTECH (CSE) #BCA #BBA #BCOM(H) #MBA #MCA took part in the competition. The coordinators of the event were Ms. Kavita Verma and Mr. Rahul Handa, both Faculty, #SchoolofManagement. Mr. Amanpartap Singh Pall, Convenor, Sports Club motivated the participants and guided them to make this competition a true celebration of intellect and skill.
The student coordinators of the event were Harshpreet Baswan and Piyush Goel of #BBA and Amritanshu Basra of #BCOM (H). The office bearers of Apeejay Students Sports Club #ASSC were also present during the whole event for its smooth conduct.

Dr. Rajesh Bagga, Director, AIMETC, encouraged and motivated the students to participate in the sports events sincerely and with full passion. Dr. Bagga stressed on the fact that sports should be a part of one’s daily routine as it not only keeps us physically fit but also helps to develop a sense of friendliness and team spirit. In the end he said that it is not just about winning; it’s about the thrill of the game and the camaraderie of fellow chess enthusiasts.
