The NSS Club of Apeejay Institute of Management & Engineering Technical Campus organised a “Women Health and Hygiene Awareness Programme with Sanitary Pads Distribution” in the nearby villages of Jandusinghe and Dhogri.
The initiative focused on spreading awareness about menstrual hygiene, nutrition, disease prevention, and overall well-being, while addressing period poverty and breaking social stigma. Through interactive sessions and sanitary pad distribution, women were educated on proper usage, safe disposal practices, and the importance of personal hygiene.
