Jalandhar, Feb. 8, 2019: The School of Information Technology of Apeejay Institute of Management & Engineering Technical Campus (AIMETC), Jalandhar, organised a one-day workshop on MLCC by the Google Developers Group, Jalandhar. Mr Kamal Vaid and Mr Ashan Khan from Google Developers Group were the keynote speakers for the occasion. The Workshop aimed at hands-on experience on Machine Learning, use of Artificial Intelligence and creation of Neural Networks.
Mr Khan started from the basics of ML going up towards the Advanced Programming concepts. The session included EMOJI SCAVANGER HUNT game which introduces an AI experiment to identify and recognise the objects in real time. He introduced TensorFlow.js, a library for training and deploying machine learning models in the browser. He further elaborated on Colaboratory, a free Jupyter notebook environment which runs from the cloud without a physical installation on the laptop or PC.
Mr Khan elucidated deeply into the neural network systems and its working. He used Python code to demonstrate the development of neural network systems and building other learning models. Director of AIMTEC, Dr Rajesh Bagga, encouraged the participants, appreciated and thanked Mr Kamal Vaid, Mr Ashan Khan and other team Members of GDG, Jalandhar for enlightening the students.
Jalandhar, Feb. 8, 2019: The School of Information Technology organised a ‘Workshop on Cloud Study Jams, Google Developers Group’ at the Apeejay Institute of Management & Engineering Technical Campus, Rama Mandi, Hoshiarpur Road, Jalandhar. More than 100 students from various schools and colleges of Jalandhar, Amritsar, Ludhiana and Kapurthala participated in the Workshop.
The Workshop comprised developer’s interaction in which the beginners interacted with the skilled developers. The skilled developer (speaker) guided students towards their career that would help them to resolve their career issues as well as acquainted them about Google Cloud Platform.
Jalandhar, Feb. 2019: The students of Apeejay Institute of Management & Engineering Technical Campus attended a workshop organised by the PHD Chamber of Commerce. The topic of the Workshop was ‘Recent Developments & Practical Issues Under GST’. The objective of the workshop was to help the audience differentiate facts from opinions in case of GST which has undoubtedly become the singe-largest opportunity both for business personnel and professionals alike. The Workshop was held with the purpose of helping the audience resolve these issues.
The Chief Guest for the Workshop was Mr Yogendra Garg, Additional Director General, GST. The Workshop was also attended by various renowned industrialists of the city. Mr RS Sachdeva, Chairman, PHD Chamber of Commerce, stated that that it would be better for the business if GST Refund is time bound. The audience were also apprised on the latest developments in GST. The practical issues and difficulties related to GST were also addressed.
Jalandhar, Feb. 2019: A workshop was organised as a part of the on-going induction programme at the Apeejay Institute of Management & Engineering Technical Campus, Jalandhar. Mr Saurabh Taluja, an official from Hayden & Reynott, an educational consultancy firm associated with Apeejay Education Society was the resource person for the same. The objective of the study was to provide guidance to students who planned to study abroad in countries like USA, UK, Australia and Canada.

A workshop on ‘Android App Development’ was organised at the Apeejay Institute of Management & Engineering Technical Campus, Jalandhar. Mr Yuvraj Singh and Mr Harsimar from Genius Office Software Development, Jalandhar were the resource persons for the Workshop which was organized with the objective to bridge the gap between industry and academia.Jalandhar, Feb. 8, 2019: A Seminar on ‘Stress Management’ was organised at the Apeejay Institute of Management & Engineering Technical Campus on Feb.8, 2019. The resource person for the seminar was Sadhvi Om Prabha Bharti ji, a graduate in Psychology from the University of Winnipeg. Sadhvi Om Prabha ji is an eloquent speaker and has been the resource person for various workshops for students and corporates.
The resource person started the presentation with an assessment test to help students to find out their stress levels and made an analysis of the behavioral changes needed to lead a stress free life.
