Jalandhar, Feb. 8, 2019: The School of Information Technology of Apeejay Institute of Management & Engineering Technical Campus (AIMETC), Jalandhar, organised a one-day workshop on MLCC by the Google Developers Group, Jalandhar. Mr Kamal Vaid and Mr Ashan Khan from Google Developers Group were the keynote speakers for the occasion. The Workshop aimed at hands-on experience on Machine Learning, use of Artificial Intelligence and creation of Neural Networks.
Mr Khan started from the basics of ML going up towards the Advanced Programming concepts. The session included EMOJI SCAVANGER HUNT game which introduces an AI experiment to identify and recognise the objects in real time. He introduced TensorFlow.js, a library for training and deploying machine learning models in the browser. He further elaborated on Colaboratory, a free Jupyter notebook environment which runs from the cloud without a physical installation on the laptop or PC.
Mr Khan elucidated deeply into the neural network systems and its working. He used Python code to demonstrate the development of neural network systems and building other learning models. Director of AIMTEC, Dr Rajesh Bagga, encouraged the participants, appreciated and thanked Mr Kamal Vaid, Mr Ashan Khan and other team Members of GDG, Jalandhar for enlightening the students.
