September 15, 2023: AIMETC rang in Engineer's Day with multiple events and activities that left everyone inspired and amazed. Dr Rajesh Bagga, Director, AIMETC, delivered an inspiring address, emphasising the vital role that engineers play in shaping the world's future. He emphasised that Engineering is not just a field of study, it's a way of thinking.
The event commenced with an engaging presentation by Raavi, Kamalpreet, and Akansha, students from B. Tech (Semester – VII), who provided valuable insights into the significance of Engineer's Day. The day unfolded with Projects’ Presentation competition, where students presented their ingenious innovations demonstrating Bluetooth Speakers, Sensing Temperature using Arduino, Blind Stick, Robotic Car, Sensor based dustbins and more. The diversity of projects displayed the exceptional engineering talent cultivated at AIMETC.
The judges of the event were Mr Ahsan Ul Haq, Director, India Programme, Mastermind Business School, London, UK & Mentor, Start-Up Cell, Department of Industries & Commerce and Mr. Sudhir Gera, Director, IEC Gensets Ltd. It was a celebration of achievement for all participants of the Working Projects, as AIMETC recognised the hard work and innovation of every team by awarding prizes to them.
