The biography of Srinivasa Ramanujan was presented by Kiran and Ananya (BTech CSE, 1st Semester), highlighting his inspirational journey and outstanding contributions to mathematics. The students were shown a PowerPoint presentation titled “SRINIVASA RAMANUJAN: The Mathematician & His Legacy”. The presenters shared insights into his life history, achievements, and remarkable contributions to mathematics and society.
Dr. Rajesh Bagga, Director #AIMETC, motivated the students to draw inspiration from the life of Sir Ramanujan and other such magnificent personalities. He emphasized that despite having almost no formal training in pure mathematics, Sir Ramanujan made substantial contributions to mathematical analysis, number theory, infinite series, and continued fractions — including solutions to problems once considered unsolvable. He also highlighted Ramanujan’s ground-breaking theorems that transformed the world of mathematics. The students were deeply inspired by the life and achievements of the legendary mathematician.
Dr. Sheenu Nayyar delivered a special lecture on Vedic Mathematics, sharing useful tips and tricks to perform complex mathematical calculations faster and with greater accuracy. She also explained the significance of the famous Hardy–Ramanujan Number 1729, helping students understand its importance in mathematical history.
Students also actively participated in a Mathematics Quiz, showcasing their mathematical acumen and enthusiasm for learning.

He highlighted three essential skills that are critical not only for aspiring entrepreneurs but also for individuals seeking success in the corporate sector. These included strategic thinking and problem-solving, effective communication and stakeholder management, and adaptability in a rapidly changing business environment. Through real-life examples and practical insights, he emphasized how these skills help professionals navigate challenges, drive innovation, and achieve sustainable growth.
The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, who actively interacted with the speaker during the Q&A segment. The event witnessed over 1000 students from 25 reputed schools across Punjab participating enthusiastically in diverse literary, cultural, and IT-based contests that tested intellect, creativity, and teamwork.
The Institute successfully organized a Campus Recruitment Drive for Solitaire Infosys, offering promising career opportunities to students from the BTech and MCA programmes in the IT sector.
The recruitment process provided students with an excellent platform to demonstrate their technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and professional readiness—resulting in successful selections with a competitive package of ₹3 LPA.

Demonstrating exceptional technical expertise, creativity, and problem-solving skills, Tanish secured the 1st Position in the Innovation Award category, achieved an 11th global rank, and received a Certificate of Innovation for his AI chatbot project titled “Wednesday.”

The event seamlessly blended financial literacy with digital creativity, challenging participants to create a 30-second reel explaining a financial concept in a simple, engaging, and relatable manner. To ensure authenticity and originality, all entries were submitted two days in advance and carefully verified to confirm that no copyrighted or AI-generated content was used.

The celebrations commenced with a graceful Saraswati Vandana, setting a spiritually enriching and reflective tone for the event. Dr. Rajesh Bagga, Director, AIMETC, paid floral tribute to the Founder Chairman and read out a heartfelt message received from Mrs. Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairman, Apeejay Education; Chairman, Apeejay Stya and Svran Group; and Chancellor, Apeejay Stya University. In her message, she highlighted the core values and principles upheld by Dr. Stya Paul Ji, including integrity, empathy, discipline, and an unwavering commitment to excellence in education.

Responding with full enthusiasm, the NSS volunteers, Director, faculty, staff, and students came together to extend meaningful aid to the communities in need.
Through this collective initiative, substantial relief material was provided, including fogging machines, medicines, non-perishable food items, essential groceries, filtered water bottles, mosquito repellent sprays, tarpaulin sheets, and blankets. These contributions were made keeping in view the immediate requirements of the flood-affected families, ensuring timely and effective delivery of aid.

The event’s highlight was the live demonstration of ‘𝐂𝐡𝐢-𝐂𝐡𝐢’, 𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐀𝐈 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐋-𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐡𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐢𝐝 𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐨𝐭 developed by Tech-Cad. Students and faculty witnessed first-hand Chi-Chi’s capabilities, including interactive communication, object recognition, and responsive behaviour, showcasing the practical application of cutting-edge technologies. The session provided a deep dive into the realms of robotics, automation, and intelligent systems, offering students invaluable exposure to real-world industry innovations.
The Institute organized a campus placement drive for 𝐇𝐃𝐅𝐂 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐤, one of India’s leading private sector banks. The drive provided excellent career opportunities for MBA 2025 students aspiring to grow in the banking & financial sector.
The pre-placement talk gave students valuable insights into HDFC Bank’s vision, role expectations, and career growth opportunities. The selection rounds further allowed them to showcase their managerial skills, knowledge & enthusiasm for a successful career in banking.

The event was conducted to evaluate the website designing skills of the students of various streams. Students were given on the spot a problem statement to design a website. Students of #BTECH #BCA #MCA participated with full enthusiasm and spirit in the event.
The Engineering Club of 𝐀𝐩𝐞𝐞𝐣𝐚𝐲 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 & 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬, 𝐑𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢, 𝐉𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐡𝐚𝐫 celebrated 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐬’ 𝐃𝐚𝐲 with great enthusiasm to honour the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna 𝐒𝐢𝐫 𝐌𝐨𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐦 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐯𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐚, one of India’s most eminent engineers. The day served as a reminder of his vision and pioneering contributions that continue to inspire generations of engineers.
The celebration aimed to motivate students to acknowledge the role of engineering in nation-building and to provide a platform for showcasing creativity and technical expertise.
As part of the program, students presented a wide range of innovative projects. Engineering prototypes included Car Parking System, Smart Stick, Home Automation, and Smart Dustbin, while digital solutions featured a Job Application Portal and a Gym Website. In addition, students displayed mathematical models reflecting analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. The exhibits were evaluated by a panel of judges, and winners were announced across three categories.

The visit, held on September 10, 2025 took the participants to the manufacturing unit of Victor Tools (Pvt. Ltd.), one of India’s leading manufacturers of Hand tools.
To make the students understand and acquaint them with the various aspects of production process, students of #𝐌𝐁𝐀 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞r were taken to Victor Tools (Pvt. Ltd.), Jalandhar.
The objective of the industrial visit was to provide our students with real-world industry exposure, enhance their understanding of manufacturing processes, and bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical application.

A total of eight participants distinguished themselves through their in-depth research, critical analysis, and impactful presentations. The event provided a rigorous platform for students to investigate and present analysis of some of the most significant financial fraud cases from India as well as across the globe. Around 30 students attended the event and gained valuable insights into financial frauds, strengthening their financial knowledge and awareness.
𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 of our Institute organised an Industrial Visit to provide an exposure to the students about practical working environment on 28/08/25. To make the students understand and acquaint them with the various aspects of production process, students of #𝐁𝐁𝐀 and #𝐁𝐂𝐎𝐌 𝐅𝐢𝐟𝐭𝐡 𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 were taken to Verka Milk Plant, Jalandhar.
The students had an insightful experience exploring the processing journey of milk – right from quality testing, pasteurization, homogenization to packaging. They also witnessed the state-of-the-art machinery and strict hygiene practices that ensure freshness and safety in every drop. This visit not only enhanced their understanding of modern dairy technology but also gave them a real-world perspective on supply chain management, quality control, and large-scale production processes.
AIMETC recently hosted a spectacular ‘Aagaaz 2025′ freshers’ party where the new batch of students from the School of Management, IT, and Engineering came together for an unforgettable day of fun, bonding, and celebration. The event aimed to welcome the newcomers and provide them with a platform to interact with their seniors and foster a sense of belonging within the campus community.
The atmosphere was vibrant and lively, with students participating in a variety of activities. From dancing and singing to engaging in fun-filled games, the day was packed with excitement. ‘Aagaaz 2025’ served as the perfect icebreaker, allowing new students to connect with their peers and build lasting relationships. A highlight of the event was the glamorous ramp walk.
Our Institute organized an expert lecture on the topic “𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐢𝐧 𝐈𝐓 – 𝐄𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡-𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝” by Mr. Laksh Luther. The session aimed to enlighten students about the evolving landscape of information technology and the skills required to thrive in a digital era.
Mr. Luther highlighted that the IT industry is witnessing rapid changes due to artificial intelligence, machine learning, automation, and cloud technologies. He stressed that future IT professionals must acquire expertise in areas such as data science, cybersecurity, and edge computing to stay relevant in the competitive job market.
The HR Club of our institute successfully conducted “The Talent Think Tank – HR Innovation Pitch” on 19th August 2025. The event nurtured creativity, teamwork, and presentation skills – shaping our students into future-ready HR professionals. Students delivered engaging presentations on the given themes, where they not only highlighted the challenges but also provided innovative solutions and actionable strategies for the future of Human Resource.
